Government Ayurveda Dispensaries are institutions that play an important role in the health system of Kerala. They operate with the aim of providing Ayurveda treatment to the people free of cost or at a low cost. They play a crucial role in providing primary Ayurveda treatment to the general public in rural areas. The Government Ayurveda Dispensary operating in Kurumbolli in the panchayat is operated under the control of the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine.
The main objectives of Government Ayurveda Dispensaries are to provide Ayurveda treatment for common diseases, to propagate the Ayurveda lifestyle among the people, to provide treatment and advice that boost immunity, to provide natural treatment for chronic diseases, and to strengthen health services in rural areas.
